MBSMA Development & Project Officer - Susan Webb
As a resident of the NT for the past 16yrs, I have worked in several tourism related businesses in various roles including Revenue Management, Front Office Manager, Training & HR, Sales & Marketing and Reservations.
For the past 12mths I have been with NT Tourism as an Industry Development Officer working with the business on various projects to help to develop & grow their business. I also manage the Brolga Awards for TourismNT from the entrants, judging & the Gold Ceremony.
With a passion for Quilting, I was for 3yrs President of Darwin Patch workers & a highlight during this time was arranging interstate tutors coming to Darwin to present workshops.
As a small business owner I have been a member of the groups franchise committee working with other owners on marketing & business development.

Currently working as business development officer for the NT Conventions Bureau (NT Tourism). I have a background mainly in NT Government working in projects and event management roles.
I have worked on events such as the Arafura Games & Alice Springs Master Games. As a Territorian born in Alice Springs and now lived in Darwin for 7yrs, I have great knowledge of the region. I am a volunteer in the sporting community coaching netball. I have completed studies in Events Management & Business.

MBSMA Food Representative - Di Henry
I have completed 1yr as Mindil Food Rep, during this time I believe I have been approachable that I have brought all matters brought to me to the attention of the committee.
Over the wet season I have contributed by heading a subcommittee on increasing Sunday trading and an extra trading day. I have also assisted in the selection process for a business plan & researched options for Mindil 'going Green' and brought these finding before the committee. I also believe that my approachability & sense of fairness are an asset to the stallholders & Association in general.

I currently trade at Mindil Beach Markets as JD Designs and have done so for 7yrs.
Before moving to Darwin I owned & managed 2 successful businesses in Adelaide over a period of 17yrs, as management of the business I have developed strengths in organisation, motivation, corporation governance & promotions.
I currently sit on the Board of Variety the children's charity.

I have read the list of my responsibilities as a craft rep and have read the constitution of the MBSMA.
As you are probably aware I have been on the committee since 2009. My wife Joan & I have lived in Darwin for the last 4yrs. I have previously visited Darwin for many years, we have volunteered for the Darwin Festival, Arafura Games, Word Storm, Fringe Festival, etc.
I will be available at all times for all members to help them with any concerns or any information that might be required.
