Do you want to be a stallholder at the Mindil Beach Sunset Market?
Professional traders, crafts people, artist, hobbyists and novice entrepreneurs can all be found at Mindil Beach Sunset Markets(MBSMA).
There are two options to trading - either as a permanent member of the Mindil Beach Sunset Market Association (MBSMA) or as a casual stallholder.
Permanent Stallholders
To become a Permanent Stallholder you must apply with the approved application available from the Mindil Beach Sunset Market Association (MBSMA) office or website.
Once this application has been approved by the MBSMA you will then be a ratified as member.
Being a Permanent Stallholder/Member
You are allocated a stall site at the beginning of the season.
You get to vote and discuss the development and changes within the MBSMA.
You gain access to a network of marketeers.
Advice and assistance in obtaining permits, improving your stall and product diversification.
No individual can hold direct ownership of two or more stalls.
Every permanent stallholder agrees to pay rent for all 28 weeks of operation regardless of their attendance.
A security deposit of $100 for Arts, Craft and Service (AC&S) stalls and $200 for Food stalls is payable upon acceptance of an application.
A membership fee of $100 for the first member and $50 for the second is payable on receipt of application form.
Casual Stallholders
If you are unable to committ for the whole six months then it is still possible to trade as a casual stallholder. This can be a good way to test your product's viability.
Our emphasis is on local, handmade craft, and we also accept local services and promotional stalls.
It is not possible to trade at Mindil Beach Sunset Market as a casual food or drink stall with the exception of fresh produce.
Casual stallholders should apply at least two weeks before the wish to trade.
All casual stalls must comply with Market and Fairs Standards as per application.

When should I apply?
Applications for permanent stalls are available at the beginning of the year and should be submitted by the date specified on the form. Applications for Arts, craft and service stalls are accepted throughout the year and should there be any vacancies, stallholders can be admitted during the market season.
