Behind our information van (in the centre of our Market), we offer three ATM's for your convenience. Follow the signs saying "Your Local ATM".

Disabled parking is available and whilst access around the market is no problem, there is no direct wheelchair access to the beach. There are public disabled toilet cubicles also.

Due to food and hygiene compliance we do not allow any animals in the market, with the exception of course of service dogs.

Mindil Market is a BYO (bring your own) venue. No alcohol is sold on site but we encourage people to bring their own with them to enjoy whilst watching perhaps the best sunset in the world and enjoying an exciting and diverse range of food offerings.  Alcohol is also served in our private function space when booked in advance. Call us on (08) 8981 3454 today to begin planning your special private event.

No. Subject to the Tobacco Control Act there is no smoking permitted at the market. There are however designated areas which you are permitted to smoke in. These areas include; next to the toilet block at the high school end of the markets & in the Main Car park (refer to the map on our market location page).

On Thursday "Be Game" sells Crocodile steaks & other local NT meats and "Aussie Burgers" sells crocodile hot dogs . "Be Game" does not trade on Sundays.

There are a limited number of tables and chairs available throughout the grassed areas free of charge. Due to the high volume of visitors attending each market, we suggest you bring your own chairs & picnic blankets to avoid disappointment. Or better still, private tables can be reserved by booking and paying in advance - call on (08) 8981 3454 or emailing to arrange a reserved table.

That depends on how much rain is falling and how long it is expected to fall. Unfortunately due to health and safety regulations and in the interest of public safety the market does not operate when raining heavily. If a market is forced to cancel, a press release is sent to all media and transport providers. Our Facebook page is updated, as is our website. If it begins raining after the Market has begun announcements will be made by Management, Staff and Security advising of the likelihood of closure and/or re-opening.

There are a few different ways. You can visit the Stalls listing on this website for the names and contact details of permanent stall holders.  Alternatively, you can visit us at the information booth on the main food strip, at the junction between the food and craft areas, when you arrive at the markets and if all else fails, give us a call on (08) 8981 3454 during business hours and someone in the office should be able to help you.

Because between 8,000 and 12,000 people embark upon Mindil Market each evening, we suggest you speak to your children about a plan should they become lost. For younger children its a good idea is to write your mobile number on your child's arm. We are very pleased to say that we have 100% success rate in re-uniting lost children with their parents.

We have at least three St John Ambulance volunteers on duty for the duration of the Markets. The Information Booth also has a first aid kit and our staff members are First Aid trained.
