Do you want to be a stall holder at the Mindil Beach Sunset Market?
Professional traders, crafts people, artist, hobbyists and novice entrepreneurs can all be found at Mindil Beach Sunset Markets(MBSMA).
There are two options for Arts craft and service stalls, trading - either as a permanent member of the Mindil Beach Sunset Market Association (MBSMA) or as a casual stallholder.
All food stalls are required to be permanent with the exception of fresh produce.
Permanent Stall holders
To become a Permanent Stall holder you must apply with the approved application available from the Mindil Beach Sunset Market Association (MBSMA) office.
Once this application has been approved by the MBSMA you will then be a ratified as member.
Being a Permanent Stall holder/Member
You are allocated a permanent stall site.
You get to vote and discuss the development and changes within the MBSMA.
You gain access to a network of traders
Advice and assistance in obtaining permits, improving your stall and product diversification.
No individual can hold direct ownership of two or more stalls.
Every permanent stall holder agrees to pay fees for the season of operation regardless of their attendance.
A security deposit of $250 for Arts, Craft and Service (AC&S) stalls and $500 for Food stalls is payable upon acceptance of an application.
A membership fee of $100 for the first member and $50 for the second is payable on receipt of application form.

Casual Stall holders
If you are unable to commit for the whole six months then it is still possible to trade as a casual stall holder. This can be a good way to test your product's viability.
Our emphasis is on local, handmade craft, and we also accept local services and promotional stalls.
It is not possible to trade at Mindil Beach Sunset Market as a casual food or drink stall with the exception of fresh produce.
Casual stall holders should apply at least two weeks before the wish to trade.
All casual stalls must comply with Market and Fairs Standards as per application.

When should I apply?
Applications for permanent stalls will be available in January and should be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to wanting to trade. Applications for Arts, craft and service stalls are accepted throughout the year and should there be any vacancies, stall holders can be admitted during the market season.
